Just spent a week in Destin, Florida for our family vacation. Stayed here along with my wife's sister and family. We had a good time even though the weather was overcast most of the week. Had a wonderful meal at Graffiti's and bought some great seafood at Dewey Destin. There was still quite a bit of hurricane damage in the area. It reminds you just how impressive these storms have been since Destin was not even a "direct hit" based upon landfall of the storms.
Just returned from Easter Vacation. We drove from Mississippi to San Antonio to visit my wife's sister and family. It is a 10.5 hour drive no matter how you slice it. The drive is not too bad since there are decent sights to see along the way. We had a great visit and the weather cooperated with a great San Antonio "cold front" of 65 degree weather. For such a large city, San Antonio has been able to maintain a smaller city look and feel that is very nice.
