New Orleans Recommendations

Since I used to work as an admiralty lawyer in New Orleans, I often get asked to make recommendations to friends who are planning a visit to the city. I really know very little about the hotels since I have had free family accommodations in the past. I do know about food (maybe a little too much) and am happy to make my recs; but, there are always new places popping up that have fallen under my radar. I now point people to this blog, which has a wonderful section on everything in NOLA.

Although not a Vodka drinker, I did find this NY Times article interesting. In a blind taste test including many premium vodkas, panelists picked lowly Smirnoff as the best tasting of the group. price and packaging are not always what they are cracked up to be!
