Should You Have A Blawg?

Here is a short article that takes a look at legal blogs("blawgs") and their usefulness.....or more importantly, their potential.

Hello, Alan. Thanks to Blawg Review #41, I've discovered your weblog today. I think, however, that Jonathan B. Wilson has misinterpreted the purpose of this post.

Unlike Wilson, and the anonymous Editor of Blawg Review, you do not confuse advocating the use of weblogs by lawyers with advocating that they be called "blawgs" rather than "weblogs" or "blogs".

Both Wilson and the anonymous Editor of Blawg Review want us to believe that the existence of more lawyer weblogs means the nomenclature "blawg" is more accepted by the profession or the public.

It would be great, of course, if my advocacy against "blawg" terminology convinces you to rename your site "The Goodman Firm Weblog". See http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/ethicalesq/stories/storyReader$5803

Either way, I am pleased to have found your site.
